Stolen Pictures of Saints Sold by Greeks | Greek Reporter Europe

Two policemen of Scotland Yard’s Arts and Antiquity Unit delivered personally to the Greek Embassy of London six pictures of Saints that have been stolen.  They were found at Richard Deble’s Gallery in London. When Mr. Deble was questioned by the English policemen, he claimed that he had bought the pictures from some Greek individuals and he didn’t know that they were stolen.
