Beijing – Allegedly stolen painting sells for more than 3 million RMB – People's Daily Online

The Poly International Auction Co. sold a painting by Wu Zuoren, a well-known Chinese artist, at a price of more than 3 million RMB on Dec. 2 last year. However, Wu’s son-in-law claimed the painting was stolen 24 years ago, and they reported the news to Beijing police yesterday, reported by Beijing News
